It’s summer, finally!, and I am all the time surrounded by flowers and sweet smelling air which gives me lots of inspiration for the next supper.
Hiking in the mountains last weekend drove me almost mad – while I appreciated the pure beauty of rich flower fields, my food brain didn’t stop a second and looked at each flower with a hidden agenda…
I would have loved to just pick them all and run home for cooking 😉

Dear Foodlovers and friends of Encontro dos Sabores,

you are cordially invited to join Encontro dos Sabores culinary trip through Switzerland on June 8, which is the start of the 77th Tour de Suisse!

The country’s 26 cantons offer a huge variety of flavours and regional specialities – pasta and italian vegetables from Ticino, apple dishes from Thurgau, cherries from Zug, a beautiful cross-canton selection of Swiss cheese and wine …this and many more Swiss specialities will, in one way or the other, become part of the menu, which I am yet to finalize. Vegetarian options will be possible and as always, let me know any allergies or intolerance, so I can make sure you only eat what is good for you.

Reply until May 19th if you would like to join! I will then soon revert to you – with the final menu composition and a confirmation of your participation.
