Dear all,

welcome back for the next culinary adventure @ Encontro dos Sabores on November 20th. From grain to BEER! This has been an idea since the very beginning but somehow the months calling for warm and hearty food went by with loads of ideas already piled up that it had to wait until now. Also, the brewer in the house needed a couple of test runs and it now means that we’ll be able to taste some of our homebrew, which wouldn’t have been possible two years back!!

What will be on the menu? Beer obviously, in a number of variations. You’ll have the chance to try different beer accompanying the food. Please let me know within the next 3 days if you would like to join. I will re-confirm your participation before the weekend. As usual, the evening starts with a relaxing arrival at around 6.30 pm.

Price for the dinner: 75 CHF. No non-alc option this time, obviously but vegetarians can easier be catered for though, please announce when registering. Should you have any intolerance or food allergy, do let me know, so I can make sure you only eat what is good for you!

YES! Believe or not, Encontro dos Sabores celebrates it’s second birthday.

I don’t even wanna try to describe my joy about it in words, I guess I am much better showing it in FOOD 🙂

Let’s celebrate with FLOWERS. Last year’s Flower-Power dinner attracted huge interest and I had to decline a few people, so those who wanted to join but couldn’t grab a seat (hint, hint) and all the others of course,  give it try and sign up for August 12th’s FLOWER-POWER 2014. The shopping list for the menu (currently) looks like this:

flour, butter, sunflower

burrata, dandelion

watermelon, radish, geranium

beef, chili, cilantro, orchid

ricotta, butter, cream, sugar, rose

 

Let me know in the next 3 days if you would like to join and don’t forget to mention any allergies or intolerance, so I can make sure you only eat what is good for you. As usual, the evening starts around 6.30 pm. Price: CHF 75 with & 65 without alcohol. Vegetarians can easily be catered for, but for planning please let me know when signing up if you wish a vegetarian option.

a warm and belated welcome to 2014 to all of you!! Encontro dos Sabores is finally ready to open its ‘doors’ again and I am happy to invite you to the 2014 opening dinner on March 18th.
Peruvian food has gained incredible popularity at top culinary levels and creates both, a nice challenge for me and a delightful dining opportunity for you 🙂

CARAMEL Dinner – we are booked out

Faster than expected- the CARAMEL Dinner is booked out! It seems to have good chances to reach a popularity as high as the Chocolat dinner- you guys are putting pressure on me now 😉

And something new as well – it is a first time LADIES Only night. Wohoo!!
