EdS’ Journey through time

Dear Foodlover’s,

May 1 is celebrated as International Labour Day. We use this date for a journey through time and invite to an original GDR dinner party! Join us to experience recipes from former East Germany – Wednesday May 1st, door opening 6.30pm.

Ready to food-travel? RSVP until April 15th to make sure your entry permit it issued in time! Please don’t forget to announce any allergy or intolerance. I will make sure you only eat what is good for you! Vegetarians can be catered for, let me know! Otherwise fish and meat will find their way into the menu.

Agendas didn’t match, unfortunately. I will keep this idea for Spring 2014!!

March 22 – we will celebrate Spring and upcoming Easter Holiday’s in a dinner round that will focus on eggs and fresh herbs. More to be announced soon! Reserve the date in your agenda and stay tuned for the invitation that should reach you soon!!!

FULLY BOOKED — We love Chilies!!

I am pleased to invite you to the next supper night @ Encontro dos Sabores on Tuesday, February 19th, starting 6.30 pm. A chili dinner! While still finalizing the bits and pieces I can’t yet announce the dinner composition in its very detail but following an idea of what to expect:

apéro & albondigas

ceviche of white fish

a soup

a fish with a fruit-chili sauce

a sweet & spicy dessert creation

Vegetarians can be catered for and would be proposed a homemade Spaghetti Aglio, Olio & Chili for the main.

After the dinner is before the dinner…

The January dinner round took a journey through the Middle-East and followed the goal of serving dishes that none you would normally find in the restaurants in town. 8 Foodies around the table enjoyed a 4 course menu in the typical oriental style, except the soups and dessert that came in individual servings.
